It says the Stage 3 load shedding that was implemented last week affected water pumping operations.
Spokesperson France Zama says they’re working on sourcing back-up electricity for the water production infrastructure.
Most of our water treatment plants and pumps are connected to the electricity grid so when we have power interruptions it takes us some time to recover , he said.
So we are calling for patients from most of our residents who are affected because once power is out so to our water infrastructure is affected , Zama said. ....
