Speaking on the occasion Additional Mission Director, JKRLM Jammu (UMEED) Sham Lal, appreciated the role of Women SHGs in economic development of UT and encourage them to organize themselves in cluster and Producer Groups to compete in the market.
Earlier, the women presented a colourful cultural program which enthralled the audience, A postal exhibition was also organised on the theme of Women’s Da.
On the occasion, the audience was also linked with women day celebration organized by NRLM Ministry of Rural Development Department, Govt of India through webex, whereat Staya Narayan Self help Group and Disha Mahila Village Organisation of Block Basohli District Kathua were facilitated with National Award. ....
