It appears that the sun continues to shine on the University of Arkansas. So much good news comes from the Hill that it s hard to pick what to highlight; here s just one to shed a little light, if you will, on the forward thinking of those in charge.
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will eliminate its French degree program and its affiliated faculty members after the move was approved Wednesday by the UA System board of trustees. At the same meeting, trustees also approved an agreement with Scenic Hill Solar to buy solar energy across the system.
The University of Arkansas System will enter into an agreement for solar services with Scenic Hill Solar after approval by the board of trustees during a special meeting Wednesday.
