Utilities board has learned about the Bakken Pipeline proposal. Its a story weve been following for you. Nikki the pipeline would carry crude oil from northwest north dakota and end in illinois. So far, 87 percent of the groups that need to sign off on the pipeline have done so. The utility board will make the final decision that determines whether the project moves forward. Many local companies are already working under the assumption that the pipeline will be approved. Pipe is being stored near newton and some labor unions have already begun training for the project.
