The SBY Marathon attracted 833 in-person runners April 3. Race distances offered on the downtown Salisbury courses included a full marathon, half marathon and five kilometers.
A total of 328 runners elected the marathon distance, with another 382 running the half marathon and 123 running the 5K.
The RunSBY group had approval from the State of Maryland for in-person racing to occur as long as certain protocols were followed.
Connor Hesselbirg, 25, from Kings Park, N.Y., was the overall marathon winner in 2:32.25. The first 21 runners broke three hours. ....
