this incident is similer to a series of robberies in san leandro which were classified as cases of wilding. ecpd says they will compare notes with san leandro pd. sgt. david wentworth el cerrito police we do communicate with other agencies about crime trends although we have not spoken with them yet about this current crime trend of wilding or the suspects we have in custody from last night. the san leandro cases have all been near bart stations. wednesday s robbery was near the el cerrito del norte station. police say none of the robbers live in el cerrito and likely came here on bart. police say they are stepping up patrols in the area. wentworth one of the things el cerrito police like to do is to patrol around areas like the alany greenway and keep an eye on growing trends like wilding and find areas and take groups of people and focus on what their purpose is in areas like that. police are looking for three men or boys. who they say kidnapped and sexually assaulted. a 13
