Witnesses say a woman was driving the getaway car and there were possibly two passengers. Police are still looking for whoever shot two women in sassoon overnight on civic center boulevard. The women were hit in the head and neck. Both are in critical but stable condition tonight. The women are 24 and 25 years old. They are names have not been released. So far theres no word on a motive. We do expect to learn this week what really caused a deadly crash of asiana flight 214. The National Transportation board will meet tuesday to announce the investigation results. Its been almost a year since the boeing 777 crashed on landing at sfo. Three people died. Reporter when this fire started in the Verdugo Mountains above glendale, Glendale Fire Department told us there were two pair of hikers in different areas that suddenly found themselves in serious trouble. We had report of initially two hikers stranded. They phoned in saying they were stranded in the fires direction. Reporter the hikers were hoisted into a helicopter and brought to a heli pad in burbank. L. A. City fire told us the hikers appeared fine. All of them walked from the helicopter to an ambulance to be checked out. Kids kind of got a little nervous, so we decided to just leave.
