Abilene police: Welfare check turns into arrest for warrant

The employer contacted police about 8:40 a.m. concerned about the employee s welfare, the report said.
Officers who contacted the man at his residence in the 5100 block of Twylight Trail did a name check and discovered he had a warrant out of Callahan County. He was taken to Taylor County Jail, the report said.
