Two Wrexham schools removed from Estyn review requirement list after positive follow up

Two Wrexham schools removed from Estyn review requirement list after positive follow up
Two local secondary schools have received positive feedback by Estyn – the education and training inspectorate for Wales.
Both Darland High School in Rossett and The Maelor School in Penley recently underwent follow-up reviews after being inspected back in 2019.
Estyn has now published a letter on both Darland and the Maelor School with a judgement is that both schools have addressed the recommendations that were made, and the need for further review is no longer required, noting for both:
“The school has been removed from the list of schools requiring Estyn review. There will be no further monitoring activity in relation to this inspection” ....
