NORTHALLERTON CAMERA CLUB’S Zoom meeting on Monday, February 1, was very topical, given the mixed weather of late, as it was on the subject of Seasons .
There was a plethora of weather-related images to feast the eye on and judge Alan Porrett had the onerous task of sifting through all 70 of them to find the best.
The standard was so high that he judged 13 images to be outstanding, giving joint third place to Dave Coates for his entries entitled The Twisleton Erratic and (a lovely mixture of golden daffodils and dark clouds) – Spring Storm Light, St. Mary’s. There was also a one-man tie for second with Chris Morton’s hauntingly atmospheric Autumn Gold and shiver – inducing Lakeland Pass receiving the honours. ....
