TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Ivy Tech Community College Terre haute and Twin Rivers Career and Technical Education have partnered to offered high school students the opportunity to earn college credits.
The program will be tuition-free and is offered to juniors at Linton-Stockton, Shakamak, Sullivan and North Central high schools with classes beginning next fall.
Juniors must apply to be accepted into the Twin Rivers program. Students accepted are only responsible for books and technology fees.
Classes will be offered in a variety of fields including diesel technology, business, welding, agriculture, information technology, I.T. support, engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, accounting, robotics technology, advanced automation, collision repair, human services (social work) and criminal justice. ....
