New Swindon Town owner Clem Morfuni and plans for the training ground in Highworth
Swindon Town has confirmed it is assessing its involvement with plans to build houses and a new training facility on Twelve Oaks Golf Course near Highworth.
The club was granted permission for a new 22-hectare training complex on part of the course, and was given consent to build 18 luxury houses on another part.
These applications were made by the club when it was owned by Lee Power, who was also given permission to build a racehorse training facility.
Now under the ownership of Australian millionaire Clem Morfuni, the club has confirmed it doesn’t own the sites and is looking at how to proceed. ....
