Come out to the McDonald Hughes Community Center on July 21st, 2021 from 10a-4p for the Tuscaloosa CommUnity event. This event is completely free and open to the public. It s a chance for communities to unite for food, fun, fellowship, and useful services.
Shelton State Men s Head Basketball Coach Joe Eatmon was instrumental in establishing this event. It started as an idea where a guy Dan McCormack came to me and asked for my help with me being specifically from West Tuscaloosa, Joe said. It actually started out as he just wanted me to bring my basketball team to do a dunk contest to entertain the crowd. It s blown up to where now it s a college fair, a health fair, a job fair, and entertainment all under one roof in the same day. ....
