Bloemfontein Celtic moved to tenth spot on the DStv Premiership table following a 2-1 victory over TS Galaxy on Sunday afternoon.
Captain Ndumiso Mabena made a return from suspension and Tshepo Rikhotso filled in for the suspended Justice Chabalala, while Pogiso Sanoka started for Galaxy.
It was Celtic who looked to bag the opener five minutes in through a snap-shot from close-range by Victor Letsoalo, but goalkeeper Marlon Heugh smothered the forward.
The breakthrough did eventually arrive 12 minutes gone when Menzi Masuku went down in the area to win a penalty which he then converted by sending Heugh the wrong way.
