justice department. hi, martha. a lot going on here. we know the former clinton campaign attorney michael sussmann is fighting back against the allegations through his attorneys. he s arguing that john durham is trying to taint the jury pool. sussmann was charged in february and pleaded not guilty for lying to the fbi after coming with information and the trump campaign being in cahoots with the trump campaign but not divulging that he worked with the clinton campaign. john durham said that susman was involved with a tech executive canadian rodney geoffrey. he took information from servers at trump tower and the executive office of the president, the white house, going back to 2014 during the obama administration. geoffrey has not been charged with any crime.
whether this conversation that we re hearing about this has violated that or not. but one thing is crystal clear. the president of the united states has brought shame on his office because he s admitted he asked a foreign government to intervene against his adversary in one of our elections and the concept of shame has gone out the door. this attorney general is now wrapped up in that for whatever reason that may be. so, matt miller, we ve had a lot of conversations, all of us have, around this table about why barr does what he does. but what he does he s done in full view. we ve seen plenty of it. and we ve all reached a pretty early conclusion, even before i think some of his former justice department colleagues, people who had worked with him in the past that he has clearly for whatever reason as frank said, drank the kool-aid or whatever you want to use for it. and when he talked about the trump campaign being spied on, when he pre-spun the mueller report. when he wrote a summary
