Back from the pandemic, “Think You’re Funny” at Carrollton Station. encourages comedians, both experienced and new, to take to the stage and work out their material in front of a live audience. Cassidy and Mickey Henehan co-host the weekly show. Mickey Henehan said that the local open-mic has wandered from bar to bar over the course of many years. As he explained, the show has previously found a weekly home at spots such as True Brew, Lucy’s and Keystone’s, but has been settled at Carrollton Station since 2008. ....

City Commissioners moved to approve the land exchange agreement between the city of Great Falls and Independence Bank and approved the Independence Bank minor subdivision and 10th Street Bridge minor subdivision this week. The intent of the land swap is for the land along the Missouri River to be acquired by the city to facilitate a future trail connection to the 10th Street Bridge, and for the bank to gain additional land from the city needed for parking for their eventual development project, per Director of Planning and Community Development Craig Raymond. “For years, there s been visions of providing enhanced trail connections on each side of the river through the restoration of the 10th Street Bridge,” Raymond said. “The project has taken several years to bring it to this point and we find ourselves in a position to secure land on the south side of the river, which can be used as a connecting point to our renowned River s Edge trail system.” ....
