the victim is out of surgery and stable. reporter: three other people were found dead at a trucking facility about two miles from the farm. again, the gunman was gone as police investigated both i incidents, they identified the suspect as a 66-year-old who lives in half moon bay. at 4:40 p.m. he was located in his car at the parking lot of a sheriff s substation by a deputy. the tense situation caught on camera as sheriffs took him into custody. they quickly got him out of the car and on the ground. the semiautomatic handgun was legally registered to the suspect. he wasn t a red flag for us. nothing to put him on our radar. reporter: police say children were present at the site of the shooting. i have four boys and i can not imagine what those kids witnessed today. reporter: as authorities work to identify the victims, this man says he still doesn t know if his ex-wife is among them. i want to know she is okay. ....
