Lebanon man's 2018 lawsuit against KSP Trooper is ongoing

The complaint, originally filed on Dec. 5, 2018, is ongoing in Kentucky Western District Court.
Robert Burke Jr., of Marion County is suing Daniel Forbis of Taylor County and the Kentucky State Police for an altercation that happened during a traffic stop on Dec. 10, 2017.
According to Burke’s complaint, he was driving on Loretto Road when Trooper Forbis pulled him over and requested that Burke get out of his vehicle. Burke advised Trooper Forbis he was going to record the interaction on video. That’s when, according to the complaint, Trooper Forbis slammed him to the asphalt, punching Burke in the head multiple times, pushing Burke’s face into the asphalt. ....
