Habitat Restoration Volunteer Work-Day Trinidad State Beach Join the North Coast Redwoods District for California State Parks Week, June 18, 2023, from 9am to 1pm for a habitat restoration event at Trinidad State Beach. Please meet at the main paved parking lot for Trinidad State Beach located off Stagecoach Road in Trinidad at 9am. Help remove invasive non-native plants and restore Sitka spruce forest. Event will include lunch and all participants will receive one free day use pass to Sue-meg State Park. Gloves and tools provided.
Rooting Out Invasive Plants Volunteer Work Day Come help care for our shared lands and protect biodiversity at Trinidad State Beach on June 17 from 9am to 1pm with an invasive plant pull! We will be removing invasive non-native plant species such as English ivy, Scotch broom, English holly, and cotoneaster. Afterwards, enjoy a lunch and opportunity to learn more about all of the volunteer events held throughout the North Coast Redwoods District.
