Recently, the Tribury Rotary of Woodbury, Southbury, and Middlebury, collected personal toiletry items for Safe Haven in Waterbury. Safe Haven provides crisis intervention to any victim of domestic violence. Services include emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy for both civil and criminal matters, counseling and advocacy for children, information and referral, and community education. Twelve huge bags of items were collected and presented to Melissa Malagutti of Safe Haven. “On behalf of Safe Haven, I am so touched at the kindness and generosity of our local communities and the donations made through the Tribury Rotary,” said Melissa. “The Tribury Rotary wants to help those in need in any way possible…we look for organizations and causes ....
