Published: 18th February 2021 A member of the Triathlon Scotland Academy, Anna Hedley, has hula hooped her way to raising over £1,600 for Abraham Gariseb School in western Namibia. Anna volunteered at the school in the summer of 2016 and her experience there has lived long in her memory, in particular the welcome she received from the children at the school. Having recently discovered that non-boarders there are not provided with free school meals, she wanted to do something to help because many of their families are struggling due to the Covid-19 pandemic and have been unable to provide sufficient food for their children. ....
