heart. investigators collected evidence off of a street blanketed in shell casings and spent bullets. his grandfather spoke about the loss of matthew shlonsky. it s a tragedy. during questioning king told investigators he had been shot days prior and was involved in a beef with a rival crew. he told how vims in a bargendy car and he exchanged gunfire. when he admit head fired in the direction of shlonsky the investigators determined they had enough evidence to charge him with second-degree murder. stephen: when he described his actions and defend what he said king yelled out to people on the street to get out of the way before he opened fire. he will remain behind bars until september 23 when he appears for his preliminary hearing. reporting live, stephen tschida, abc7 news. leon: we are still following that breaking news now in northeast washington, where a standoff has been underway for hours. near a home on the corner of 18th and otis street. inside was the suspect in
