A trio of Central College student-athletes were announced as the American Rivers Conference performers of the week Monday afternoon. Men’s tennis player David Boschma, men’s track and field athlete Lucas Heitz and softball first baseman Megan Stuhr were all recognized for their efforts last week. Boschma was 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles for both of Central’s wins last week. The Dutch beat Wartburg College 5-4 and Nebraska Wesleyan University 8-1. At No. 2 singles, Boschma was a 6-2, 6-0 winner against Wartburg and a 6-2, 6-1 winner at Nebraska Wesleyan. Playing with Trey Melvin, the tandem won a pair of 8-2 matches at No. 2 doubles. The Dutch wrap up their regular season schedule with matches at the University of Dubuque and Loras College Sunday. ....
