Legendary skipper Rick Sweet added a page to the Nashville Sounds (83-65, 43-31) history books in the season finale. With Nashville taking an 8-4 win over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (70-79, 38-37), Sweet became the winningest manager in Nashville Sounds history with his 321st victory at the helm.

Sweet returns for second stint as club s manager
The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the 2021 Nashville Sounds coaching staff, naming Rick Sweet the team’s new manager.
Joining him will be pitching coach Jim Henderson, hitting coach Al LeBoeuf, assistant coach Ned Yost, athletic trainer Lanning Tucker and strength and conditioning specialist Andrew Emmick.
The 68-year-old Sweet returns to the Sounds seven years after he managed the club for the first time, leading it to a 77-67 record. He becomes the third coach in team history to be appointed manager multiple times, joining George Scherger (1978, 1988) and Trent Jewett (1998-2000, 2003-04).
Sweet has served as the manager for Milwaukee’s Triple-A club since 2014, with stints with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox from 2015-18 and the San Antonio Missions in 2019. He was scheduled to manage the Missions in 2020 prior to the Minor League Baseball season being cancelled.
