The Niles Library welcomed two new board members and elected new leaders in what could be a turning point away from a contentious last two years on the board of trustees.
A new trustee joined the Niles-Maine District Library board Wednesday evening and immediately called for a special meeting to lift a hiring freeze that's been in place since May 2021.
