She suffered only minor injuries in this mornings alarming elevator malfunction at the criminal Justice Center that some at first mistakenly thought was caused by an explosion. No one told us anything, but we were on another floor and we heard a loud commotion, a loud boom. Very loud, like a reporter investigators explained the bizarre chain of events this way. Sergeant owens was in the car on the left and it breached the shafts concrete ceiling. A heavy structure that is part of the elevators machine room. Heavy debris rained down on to the righthand elevator in which court clerk smith was riding forcing that car down. The question is, what triggered the event . Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson has resigned days after a grand jury elected not to indict him for the killing of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. Ferguson mayor James Knowles said wilson will leave the police force with no severance. The city manager has accepted officer wilsons resignation. As of yesterday, officer wilson is no longer an employee with the city of ferguson. There is no severance agreement with officer wilson and the city of ferguson. The city of ferguson will not be maki
