Way of knowing when it might subside. we re going to check in with our gary tuchman, who has spent the weekend on the banks of the volcano. reporter: iceland is a spectacularly beautiful place. usually it s very cloudy and the visibility is poor. over my shoulder, you can t see the eruptions right now, but earlier we could see it clearly when it was very sunny, which is very unusual here. we went in a helicopter and were right next to it. the good news so far today is scientists are saying it s weakening a bit. that doesn t mean it s going to stop or will get stronger. that s relatively good news. the irony here in iceland is what that while people in europe are suffering from the traveling, here in ice land the airport is operating normally because it s to the west of the volcano and everything is normal travelwise here. however, for the people who live east of the volcano, to the south of the volcano, it s a lot different story. that s the way the winds have been flowing. friday we ....
