The Global Hospital and Trauma Centre in Prayagraj where a dengue patient died allegedly after he was transfused with fruit juice instead of blood platelets, now faces the threat of being bulldozed
The Global Hospital and Trauma Centre in Prayagraj was sealed by authorities after it was discovered that a dengue patient was allegedly transfused with fruit juice instead of platelets.
The hospital, however, has denied allegations of wrongdoing, saying that the victim's family had procured the spurious platelets – which turned out to be mousambi juice – themselves from elsewhere.
