Except for some Metro Manila routes, the operation of public utility vehicles remained normal despite the transport strike by some groups, Malacañang said yesterday.
The Senate has urged the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to postpone its planned phaseout of traditional jeepneys by June 30 as transport groups are poised to hold a week-long transport strike to oppose the plan.
