Tumlin will talk about this, but last week we did have a press event with supervisors peskin and preston announcing that we will be delaying our fare increases. Obviously when we were voting upon that fare increase, we could not have understood the magnitude of what was before us and not to mention we didnt really have a path forward in being able to fund the operations, so i want to thank you supervisors peskin and preston for working with us to come up with solutions which i cannot tell you what they are today. But to look at how we can fill those funding gaps which primarily effect us in year two of the budget cycle, not so much in year one. That will be coming back to us in the future. And also with that we will not be having a Charter Amendment related to sfmta. Most people have access to a telephone. So all of our public meetings, including this one, theres a dialin number for people who cant get online and cant see our faces can still hear the text and can call in on their telephone. In fact were getting a significant number of people picking up their phone and calling in. All of those phone calls are transcribed for us and vick has been reading some of them. We want to make sure people have a real opportunity to participate and we have been reliant for some of our communitybased organizations, like so many can and the social equity organizations have been participating by phone as well and we have still early in the crisis did some inperson meetings with social distance. Settings, homeless as well as First Responders and healthcare workers and those who may not want to go home because of concerns around impacting families. We have been able to because there is even with the declaration of emergency, there is still insurance to be worked out, staffing needs and security needs and support and resources. So far we have been able to this week secure at least 300 hotel rooms for selfisolating or quarantine for folks in the sro or those who are homeless. We estimate by next week we will secure at least another 3,000. Bringing on some much needed hotel rooms, and we will keep working towards making sure that those people who are in congregate settings and other places have a space to themselves so that we can reduce the transmission of the virus.
