JetBlue Wednesday announced two new seasonal transatlantic flights to Dublin and Edinburgh from New York's JFK International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport beginning next year.
Shares of the carrier, which also maintained its forecast for full-year profit, rose 2.7% before the bell. Transatlantic travel is the industry's most lucrative long-haul market, accounting for 11% to 20% of passenger revenue last year at the big three U.S. carriers: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. The carrier said it expects third-quarter revenue to rise within the upper half of its forecast range of 11% to 14% growth.
Style and comfort are both important when choosing an airline to fly with, especially as long haul journeys can be frustrating and restless for the passenger; that is why Iceland’s leading airline, Icelandair, ensures maximum comfort on all of its flights, including its flights to New York, via Iceland, from the UK.
