A mobile barbershop has opened on a bus to offer haircuts at only VND12,000 (0.5 US cents) to students in HCM City.
The bus attracted much attention after it parked in front of the dormitory of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Most of the customers are students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
23-year-old Dang Minh Man, the shop manager, said, We used to operate a similar shop before. We offered barber service on a van so it was very small. The owner, Nguyen Hoai Thanh, suggested finding an old bus and turned it into a barbershop.
