before the first debate, obviously, that debate has chained everyone s expectations. so, now, the threshhold is higher for romney. he did so well on the first debate, and president obama has to indicate some strength in this debate. the townhall format, mr. romney was aggressive in the first debate and president obama has indicated he will come out more aggressively but that may not be a format that accepts aggression. it will be interesting to watch that part of the equation. shepard: they are now using rather than aggressive they are using the word energetic. one well-known strategist said it looked like he had taken a xanax so maybe tonight is the night for something else.
