The town of Dolores has been awarded a $22,286 from the State Historical Fund for improvements to the Exon building, currently owned by Kokopelli Bike and Board. The owners will provide an equal match.
The Dolores Town Board has approved a community garden at Joe Rowell Park.
The Dolores Family Project will build and operate the garden with volunteers. Produce will be given to anyone who needs food .
Kokopelli Bike and Board is working with the town of Dolores to restore the historic Exon Mercantile building on the corner of Central Avenue and Fourth Street.
