The EUR 4.2 million project aims at increasing the capacity of Mongolian communities to implement innovative and sustainable long-term landscape management to address food system challenges and climate stresses and to achieve its objective, the STREAM project will work in two fields of action. Ambassador Traian Hristea underscored that the government of Mongolia and the EU plan to cooperate in three key areas of cooperation and that two of them require close cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
Specifically, the Ambassador proposed cooperating in protecting the wilderness, boosting green economy, and increasing the use of environmentally friendly renewable energy.
