F1 confirm Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimao for May 2

Formula 1 have officially confirmed that the Heineken Formula 1 Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimao will fill the vacant calendar slot on May 2, bringing the total number of confirmed races to 23.
F1 has been working with the race promoter and Portuguese government in order to determine the level of fan attendance, with a decision set to be made in the coming weeks.
The 2021 season gets underway in Bahrain on March 28, before heading to Imola for round two, which is scheduled for April 18. The Portimao race will be the first of a double-header, with the Spanish Grand Prix set to take place the following weekend. ....

Portuguese Presidency outlines priorities to EP committees

Ministers are outlining the priorities of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU to parliamentary committees, in a series of meetings.
Portugal holds the Presidency of the Council until the end of June 2021. The first set of hearings takes place between 25 and 28 January. A second set of hearings will take place the following week. This press release will be updated regularly.

Foreign Affairs Minister Augusto Santos Silva outlined a range of external action priorities to the Foreign Affairs Committee.
