good morning. i m jennifer franciotti here for mindy basara. and i m stan stovall. thanks for joining us for 11 news today. we ll get to our big story in just a minute, but first, the weather is definitely a big story. it s great. everybody is talking about it. it was gorgeous. i was driving around i don t have a convertible, but i had this sunroof, all the windows driving around it felt good. it s almost chilly this morning. almost needed a sweater, a little jacket coming in. oh, come on. after all these 90 degree days, you can get a little we werey, i guess. readings this morning have been anywhere from the upper 50 s to the upper 60 s to around 70 degrees, and not a cloud in the sky here. looking at our h.d. doppler radar/satellite combination, you don t see the clouds, except for rain, except for down around virginia beach, the norfolk area. there have been a few showers, a little thunder and lightning off shore there, and that s not moving towar ....
elections, this ad has brought out more controversy in the race for baltimore state s attorney. we bring you we action from both sides of the issue. the current state s attorney patricia jesse me and bernstein held another 2008 tonight. one sucked that came up was the ad from the bernstein ad that references one of the worst crimes in the city s his cree. reporter: it is focused on the murders of angela and carnell dawson an their five children in east baltimore back in 2002. she had a reputation for reporting drug dealing and other crimes in her neighborhood to police. greg bernstein hopes that the ad shows the current city attorney hasn t done enough to work on current cases. we lost five children and a parent because the state attorney s office mismanaged the program. we have the highest crime rate, the lowest conviction rate. she isn t getting the job done. you hear from detonya madden who used to be the witness protection officer in the state attorney s offic ....
