Costain has appointed a new non-executive director to its board. Tony Quinlan, a former chief executive of electronics and technology company Laird, has been announced as a replacement for Jane Lodge, who will leave the board after the firm’s annual general meeting on 6 May. She has been on the Costain board for nine years and is currently the chair of the audit committee, a position that Quinlan will take on. Costain chairman Paul Golby said: “[Quinlan] is an experienced non-executive director and audit chair and also brings experience as a public company chief executive and FTSE-250 finance director. His experience in energy and technology will be an asset to Costain as the group focuses on the decarbonisation and digital delivery of the UK’s critical national infrastructure.” ....
