Margaret Estrada is leading the race for Wapato mayor by nine votes, and a race for Naches City Council is tied with additional ballots counted Monday.
Almost a dozen candidates have declared as write-in candidates for the Nov. 7 general election, seeking votes in elections in Grandview, Wapato, Granger, Naches, Selah, Mabton and Fire District 2.
