WDC graduation open to family members

The Wadena-Deer Creek graduation ceremony will once again have crowds of family members on May 28. Students will have tickets for at least eight family members each.
Although the ceremony is not open to the public, you can watch online or listen to the KWAD radio broadcast. With a graduating class of about 50 students, family members will attend the ceremony in the middle/high school gym at 7 p.m.
WDC welcomes 15 new National Honor Society members
A formal ceremony included a message from Jil Fiemeyer as well as the receiving of medals, certificates and pins.

Fifteen new members joined the Wadena-Deer Creek National Honor Society with a special ceremony in April 2021. Dress-up days
Tuesday, Salad Dressing Day: Students will be dressing up as salad ingredients including different salad dressings for upper classmen and different veggies on down the grades. Staff are to dress like wait staff or chefs.
Wednesday, Color Day: Each grade is to wear a different color.
Thursday, Wolverine Pride Day: Wear the blue and gold!
Talent Show, Thursday Grades 5-12 are taking part in a talent show, which will livestream into the classrooms at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 18.
Coronation, Friday
A livestream coronation is set to begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19. Check the schools website or Facebook page for a link to the show.
