of events university should be doing and bringing ideas to both our students and the community and there is no better way to bring ideas to a group and through reading great books and so thank you for organizing this festival into bringing it to your home for the palm beach book festival. this the best the first author is exciting to me. all our authors connect to the college s mission in different ways, this one is especially, we have a new african-american studies program just launching in our college and of course we have a creative writing program and masters of fine arts in creative writing, a lot of those folks do more writing, this been thein genres in interesting ways but it is certainly the kind of book we want to be talking about here at fau so we are excited for this first author and lois is going to introduce. lee haber is the moderator today and the editor for a magazine and the curator of oprah s book club, she has a big job there. for this year s oprah ....
