Hurricane katrina, this typhoon is still a super typhoon, a category 3 or stronger. Lets talk about where it is going next. That nasa picture, look at that from space, perfect cemetry on all four quadrants of that storm. It is heading directly toward vietnam, will make land fall there tomorrow. Still category 3 tonight. How about that storm surge where the ocean rises ahead of the storm moving through. We have seen storm surge from 10 to 25 feet. Thats when the fire broke out. It was a threealarm fire and there were lots of firefighters on scene trying to knock this place down. They contained it before 10 00. Two people were inside were taken to st. Francis memorial with serious burns. There was recently work done on the home and the Fire Department said there didnt appear to be any fire stops between the floors and walls because of the type of construction. It excontinueded to extended to the fourth floor. A lot of it went up quick. The unit did a great job and hopefully the people will be okay. Knew our neighbors for 15 years. They just finished two and a half years of renovations. Like a Million Dollars worth of gorgeous restoration. It looks like that is all ruined. We can hear them breaking windows and pulling out the saw. He said it is such a sad situation. Hes still in a lot of pain but justture things like this lift his spirit. The road to recovery is a long one but the ribbons on the bus right keeps lis his faith. Hes happy by the actions of his schoolmates and ribbons on the bus poles all the way up the 57th bus line. Reporter the rainbow road is a perfect show of support for his son.
