Dr. Wati Aier says they will hold meeting often Our CorrespondentKohima, Oct. 19 (EMN): In another significant development, the Working Committee, National Political Groups (WC-NNPG) and the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN)/ (NSCN-IM) have agreed to form a Council of Naga Relationships and Cooperation (CNRC) in an attempt to explore ways to seal a final settlement to the protracted Naga political issue. The decision was taken during a two-day meeting in Kolkata between the delegations of the two groups under the initiative of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR). Our Reporter Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): Chairman of Naga Archive and Research Centre Dimapur, Rev. Dr. V K Nuh on Sunday stated that there are now ‘six truths’ among the Naga national groups, with all factions claiming to be defenders of the truth. “We have heard enough lessons from Israelites, how slow they were to learn despite many miracles from God. They were often rebellious against God; that is why their journey to the land of Canaan was delayed”, he shared. Naga solution should be based on Framework Agreement, says Tuccu

Our Reporter Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): NSCN (IM) Chairman Q Tuccu on Friday said the group will only accept a solution based on the Framework Agreement (FA), which includes ‘sovereignty, flag and land of the Nagas’, and that fight will continue until it is fulfilled. He was addressing the co-ordination meeting of Naga national workers from Nagaland state under the agenda “Reaffirming of one people, one nation” at Agri –Expo, Chumoukedima. We will never compromise our Naga rights but stand firm, he said while asserting that the Nagas flag is the identity of the Nagas. Nagas are one and we have one common goal and issue, he said as he reminded thousands of participants about the sacrifices made by “our ancestors” for the Naga cause. On public outcry over the delay in solution, he said that ‘they cannot give the rights of the Nagas to the Indians for the sake of Naga solution and return empty handed’. Cannot forego flag, constitution under any circumstances — NSCN (IM)

Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) on Sunday stated that “under no circumstances” will it give up the Naga national flag and constitution as it symbolises Naga national identity. A statement from MIP stated that the NSCN (IM) had “attached great importance” to the Naga national flag and constitution (Yehzabo) as part of the Naga political solution. It therefore reiterated its stand to never deviate from the Naga national principle at any cost and uphold and protect the Naga unique history.
