Cork defender Tomás Clancy has announced his retirement from inter-county football.
The Fermoy clubman made his breakthrough with the Rebels in 2013, having won Munster U21 and All-Ireland junior football honours two years previous.
The 30-year-old also won a Cork SFC crown with his club and two Sigerson Cup titles with UCC.
This past September, Clancy damaged his calf and Achilles tendon in a club game and, as a result, he would miss Cork’s run to the Munster SFC final.
