It’s a unique partnership between the city, the Sunrise Kiwanis Club, and public and private volunteers who have joined together in an effort to restore a favorite Fort Pierce destination for parents and their children.
The park will be closed for a week starting Monday October 10 to allow for the old kid’s park there to be re-built. The closure effects the entire park including the pavilions, the boat ramps, the playground areas, and the parking lots. The re-built park is scheduled to re-open on Monday, October 17.
