And certainly over our lifetimes, weve witnessed a frightening and really disturbing expansion of federal government. Far beyond what our founders ever anticipated, and they truly did work hard to work against and to prevent. And that expansion of federal government has only gotten worse over the last eight years under president obama. Today we have the great privilege to welcome four outstanding governors to discuss these very significant issues of federal growth and regulatory overreach. I serve not as a lawman and a sheriff but also 20 years in the army, in the reserve component. Served a term in iraq. Commanded soldiers here in our state down on the border and when you see the leadership in our country under the president take the approach we have, its leadership, we need people to run for office for congress that have a background not just as a sheriff but as an army officer retired to help make thes
