Three competitive school board races were in Neenah, Kimberly and Kaukauna. In Seymour and Freedom, voters considered referendums for their school districts.
Mussett has served in a variety of roles since coming to Freedom in January 2015, including associate principal of the elementary school and the director of special education, curriculum and assessment.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, her master s degree in educational leadership and curriculum development from Concordia University and her doctorate in higher education and leadership studies from Edgewood College.
In a statement, Mussett said she s honored to be named the next district administrator of Freedom. I am proud to be part of the Freedom community and will continue to be dedicated to the continued success and growth of our students, a strong leader for our district staff and a positive resource for our community members, Mussett said.
