Around the Northeast, when we imagine the summer pleasures of immersing ourselves in a day of fresh, crisp air, sun and natural beauty, we think of the beach.
Nothing wrong with that but the Berkshires also beckon.
On a sunny morning last week, I hopped in my car and headed west for a day spent exploring Lenox.
I knew the big things: Tanglewood is there, and I’d been to weddings at The Mount. But a visit to Lenox offers escape on a whole new level. ....
