Sattler was headed southbound on State Route 101 at milepost 45 in a gray Toyota pickup truck when it struck Edgerton s Harley Davidson motorcycle at about 12:30 a.m., according to court documents.
After striking the motorcycle, the pickup truck continued south on State Route 101 and exited on the McDonald Drive exit. Police eventually found the truck and Sattler at a 7-Eleven convenience store, according to court documents.
Police made contact with Sattler in the parking lot, where he admitted to driving the truck on Loop 101 and said he struck an unknown object while changing lanes. Sattler told police he stopped the vehicle in the gore point of the McDonald Road off-ramp, according to court documents.

Jerry Baker passed away on Feb. 12, 2021, when his mind and body were too tired to carry on. He leaves behind the legacy of a unique and talented man who wrote his own rules.
Jerry Lee Baker was born on April 2, 1941, in Racine, Mo., as the youngest child of John Wood and Lillian (Jennings) Baker.
He moved to New Hampshire shortly thereafter and made the suitably named âLive Free or Dieâ state his home.
Jerry was involved in law enforcement in Jaffrey, Keene and Shelburne for nearly half of his life. He did not like authority, yet enforced the law.
