Tom Bowen-Hall was named Children & Young Peopleâs Coach of the Year at the UK Coaching Awards A RUGBY coach from Melksham has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to the sport, taking home the Children and Young People’s Coach of the Year Award at this year’s UK Coaching Awards. Tom Bowen-Hall, who was nominated for the award by rugby legend Lewis Moody, works for Mad Dog Sport in Melksham and is the company’s Head of Rugby Operations and Head of Rugby at Melksham Oak Community School. He went above and beyond for his students during lockdown, providing a fantastic virtual experience whilst face-to-face training and physical games weren’t allowed.
